Summer Break until Saturday Sept 3rd
Rugby Union is not really a summer sport, mainly because the ground (on which we spend a lot of time) is just too hard.
During the summer months your coaches do a
lot of work making sure that the equipment we use is sorted and ready for the new season.
We also have to sort out coaches and team managers for next season.
So while you have lots of fun on your holidays, our new Chairman Jason and his crew are busy organising everything for you.
For those of you who like to plan well in advance, our new season will kick off on Saturday Sept 3rd.
We hope to see you then. (Remember, if you have any friends who would like to play rugby
with Highfield, but who are unsure of whether they would like the sport, just bring them with you for the first few sessions and see how they get on)

The Management Committee of Highfield RFC recommends that all persons playing rugby for our Club, should have their own personal injury
insurance that covers any medical expenses and loss of earnings.
Although all players are covered by IRFU insurance while playing rugby, this does not cover loss of earnings or medical expenses.
The Club strongly recommends that all players organise their own insurance to cover this eventuality.
To all concerned,
As you are aware a lot of effort has been made to improve the quality of competition for our Youths (U16s and U18s) throughout the province
by updating our competition model so that players play more meaningful games throughout the season.
